OK Chorale PDX

OK Chorale PDX is a drop-in community chorus in Portland, Oregon.

OK Chorale's first theater production was inspired by David Bowie's passing. They put out an open call for singers to perform "Space Oddity" and three other songs.

Singers were invited to a Southeast Portland bar to learn their harmonies. And then nearly two hundred participants showed up at OMSI's Planetarium. The seats were full of singers. (We may have been the only ones in the room not singing.) The ceiling was full of stars. The room was alive with voices. It was a night we won't forget.
